This policy explains how refunds work for Offrun, which is operated by Founderly, Inc., a corporation organised under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and expands on section 5 of them; where the two describe the same thing, they say the same thing.
Offrun is free today, and there is nothing to refund. There is no paid plan, no subscription and no charge of any kind, so none of the windows below can start running yet. This is the policy that will apply when there is something to buy, published now so you can read it before that happens rather than after. If you are ever billed by us in error in the meantime, tell us and we will return it in full, whenever you notice.
1. Everything is free right now
Offrun costs nothing and nothing in it is metered: dictation, meeting recording and transcripts, agents, projects, peer review, connected agent accounts, modes and notifications, with no word allowance, no seat count and no payment card.
We would rather you used it for a week and found out whether Offrun suits the way you work than paid first and asked for the money back after. That is the whole reason it is free while we work out what the workspace is worth.
2. Subscriptions and billing
There are no subscriptions today and nothing is billed. When a paid plan is introduced, its price and billing cycle will be set out here and in section 4 of the Terms before it applies to anyone.
Cancelling will take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep the paid features until then, and you are not charged again. Cancelling stops future charges; on its own it is not a refund of a charge already taken. If you want the last charge back as well, ask us, and section 3 applies.
3. The fourteen-day refund
Once there is something to buy: if Offrun is not what you hoped, write to us within fourteen days of a charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask you for one or try to talk you out of it.
Refunds go back to the original payment method.
4. What we always refund
Some charges should never have happened, and those are not subject to any window. Tell us whenever you notice:
- a duplicate charge, or one you were billed twice for;
- a charge taken after you had already cancelled;
- a charge for a period in which a genuine technical fault stopped you using the app and we were not able to fix it in reasonable time.
Beyond those, and beyond the fourteen days in section 3, refunds are at our discretion, but if something has gone genuinely wrong, ask. We would rather hear about it.
5. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the country you live in, including any statutory right to cancel or to a refund. Where that law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, that law applies and this policy does not cut it down.
6. How payments are processed
No payment is processed today, and no card details are collected anywhere in Offrun. When a paid plan is introduced, payments will be handled by Stripe: your card details will go directly to Stripe and will never reach our servers. We will keep the customer and subscription references, the plan and its status, and, if you cancel, the reason you give and any comment you add. That is what is needed to run a plan and to process a refund if you ask for one; the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what it is.
Because the refund is issued through Stripe and then travels back through your bank or card provider, the money typically appears within five to ten business days once approved. That last leg is not something we control.
7. How to request a refund
Email hello@founderly.xyz from the address you used for the purchase, or tell us what that address was. A receipt or order number helps but is not required. We can find the charge without it.
We review requests within five business days and will tell you either way.
