Supported agents
Offrun runs five coding agent CLIs. Each one signs in with its own account, the same way it does in a terminal.
An agent behaves in Offrun as it does in Terminal: same models, same settings, same skills. Offrun does not include the CLIs, so install the ones you want first. Each maker's install command is under Install the agent CLIs.
| Agent | Command | Signs in with |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | claude | Your Claude account, in the browser |
| Codex | codex | Your ChatGPT account, in the browser |
| AGY | agy | Google, then a code you paste back |
| Grok Build | grok | Your browser, the first time it runs |
| Muse Code | muse | Your Meta account, or an API key |
Offrun keeps a second login apart by starting the CLI pointed at that login's own folder: through CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR for Claude Code, CODEX_HOME for Codex, GROK_HOME for Grok Build and XDG_CONFIG_HOME for Muse Code. AGY gets a home folder of its own. Connect your agents covers adding logins.
Claude Code
Anthropic's agent. Install it with curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash or brew install --cask claude-code. Offrun signs it in with claude auth login, and Settings shows the account's email. Home shows its plan (Pro, Max, Team, or API for an API key) and its 5-hour and weekly usage. Its answers stream into the chat as they are written.
Codex
OpenAI's agent. Install it with npm install -g @openai/codex or brew install --cask codex. Offrun signs it in with codex login, and Settings shows how it signed in, such as with ChatGPT; Codex does not report an email. Its answer arrives a step at a time rather than word by word. Home shows its usage once it has run a turn.
AGY
Google Antigravity's CLI, labeled Agy in the app. Install it with curl -fsSL https://antigravity.google/cli/install.sh | bash. To sign in, Offrun runs agy, which prints a Google sign-in link; sign in, then paste the code it gives you back into Offrun. Settings shows Signed in with Google.
AGY has no setting for where it keeps its login, so each extra AGY login gets a home folder of its own. Offrun links your .gitconfig, .ssh and .npmrc into it, so commits and pushes still work. AGY has no sign-out command: to forget an extra login, remove it in Settings. The whole answer arrives when the turn ends.
Grok Build
xAI's coding agent, labeled Grok in the app. Install it with curl -fsSL https://x.ai/cli/install.sh | bash. Offrun signs it in with grok login, which opens xAI's sign-in page in your browser. Grok Build shows its usage limits only in its own app, so Home has no figures for it.
Muse Code
Meta's coding agent. Install it with curl -fsSL https://dev.meta.ai/install.sh | bash. Offrun signs it in with muse login, which shows a code to approve on Meta's sign-in page. If META_API_KEY is set, Muse Code uses that instead, and Settings shows Signed in with API key. Muse Code updates itself, so Offrun leaves its updates alone, and it does not report usage limits.
Keeping the CLIs current
Offrun runs claude update, codex update, agy update and grok update a minute after it opens and every six hours, never while one of your chats is answering. See Install.
Other agents
These five are the agents Offrun runs today. When it adds one, it will be listed here and in the changelog.
